New problem while playing

Never had this problem before, now I get it about once a game. In the middle of a game, it will act as if I have made the game's window inactive. The sounds stops and all of my inputs stop working. I have to click the mouse to get the window "active" again so that I can continue playing.

Anyone else noticing this recently?

Uninstall/reinstall your controller's firmware/app.

I had to speak to Razer support (dear god) to even find out if they had firmware updates. They just redirected me to the MS store to get the standard Razer install. But no more losing focus in game. Just played for about 25 min no more issue.

Mine just started, after a game has started it will pause no sound no controls until I click the left mouse button then all comes back but if your in a game in flight when it does this it will mess you up. It just started doing this a week ago

i have the same issue always on the first game then it doesn't happen again until the next time i start the game, i also had the xbox game bar open once

omg. I thought I was going crazy. My first game in a session does this every time, after it does it once, it never does it again in that session.

If I come out the game and back in, it'll do it again. Not always displaying windows, but you lose all control and you have to mouse click to get back into the game.

Only started happening fairly recently.

I've had this weird problem for a few weeks too. It seemed to coincide with a Windows update. It was happening to me almost exactly 5 minutes into my RL session, whether I was in training or a game. Very disturbing to have it happen at the wrong time in ranked play, as many of you know.

So, I disabled the Xbox Game Bar in Windows and the problem seems to have gone away! For me at least, that solves the problem. Give it a try and see what you think...

Disabling the XBOX game bar has fixed my game becoming unresponsive until mouse input after 5 minutes playing.

I also had another issue of my Series X controller not registering until after a few minutes of starting the game. Even a clean windows install didn't fix it but I re-downloaded bluetooth drivers and updated through windows update and this problem is now gone.

Now I just have the issue of RS button counting as a second player. This problem disappears using a wired connection but I don't like being tethered and the risk of the controller falling off my desk from bumping into the wire.
I've tried changing steam controller settings and updating firmware through the accessories app but no luck.
Does anyone have a fix or idea on this?

This is a bug not just on controller. It also happens on m/kb. I dont have any controller plugged in, and its only this game.

As you can read when you look better I was replying to guy above my post.

Thief wrote in other topic he found out that his mouse software was causing it. I'm playing keyboard only too and don't have that issue

i have tried with my own account and my kids account on both windows and linux setup with a virtual windows, it's the same issue, this tells me that this is without a doubt a game issue and not a firmware, hardware, OS issue.

what i don't understand is why some people are not having this ?? could those of you who are not having the issue maybe post your graphic settings for the game in here ? maybe it's related ? who knows, but no matter what, this is not the 2018 or the 2015 bug, this is a new bug that has the same outcome as those bugs, but it's neither related to xbox app / gamebar or windows updates, since that would not be in the virtual setup i did on linux where the same tab out problem still occured.
