but i think it comes from the buffering that theese lags are there took some screenshots and everytime the buffer gows down the ping goes over 400
I have uninterrupted High Speed Internet.
Only transfering network data to and from Steam/Rocket League/dependencies/Discord (And on occasion, Google Chrome for music).
This only happens in Rocket League.
IBuf variation of up to -30, Ping changes from 40 to 350 and back in seconds.
Latency only happens with certain Rocket League servers.
I use very little data in the background, Rocket League uses very little data.
Been doing some network monitoring and checking in with my ISP to see if it's an issue on my side (Nothing can be found).
Running tracert we see that peer routing servers by GTT are taking me through Germany or other places via oversaturated peering servers.
Seems kinda far out of the way to route someone who's internet traffic should not even be leaving the United States.
Also noticed Cloudflare services, probably used for server protection against DoS. However I allow Rocket League access to all TCP/UDP ports as a trusted service so it should have no issue keeping me connected to its gaming servers.
I've tried memory cleaners, network prioritization for Rocket League, uninstalling/reinstalling the game (It's on a realatively new Samsung 860 EVO SSD right now). I have tried changing the in game bandwidth settings, I have tried changing my firewall settings to always allow Rocket League, even though it's already being granted. I replaced ethernet cable, I hard reset my modem/routers, I unplugged / replugged all cables, I had the splitter and amplifier on the line checked/cleaned/tried replacements, I had my modem checked (Perfect power levels / SNR / DB).
The next step is to replace the modem for about $250, but that seems illogical in my mind as every other thing on the internet basically functions without latancy issues. This issue is almost definitely and exclusivley limited to the game Rocket League and it's online matches.
