Edit: Last option I can think is to delete (do backup just in case) Rocket League folder from Documents-My games-Rocket League
I've also deleted that folder as well, the issue still remained. I appreciate the efforts.
Yes I saw the auto-response 5 days ago with no updates from them.

Hi Quatavia, I tried the fix and ultimately it did not help with my issues.
Sorry for the long delays, I suspected that maybe the issue was occurring due to high local disk temps ~80 deg C. I spent the last few weeks adding fans and cooling down the system. The local disk now sits comfortably between 30-45 deg c and the issue persists.
Thank you for the help!

Hey Jordan,
Thank you for being a part of the Rocket League community!
I understand you are experiencing a performance issue. I am happy to help and get you on the fields.
I recommend renaming the Rocket League folder. In order for this to work, disable Steam Cloud Sync for Rocket League, as well as any other cloud services on your PC. This prevents Steam from copying a corrupted version of the folder back into the game files.
To disable Cloud Sync in Steam please follow these steps:
1. Right-click on Rocket League in the Steam Library
2. Select Properties
3. Click on the Updates tab
4. Uncheck Enable Steam Cloud Synchronization For Rocket League
5. Click the Close button
Next, Rename the Rocket League folder:
1. Click on the Folder Icon in the lower-left corner of the screen
This will open File Explorer
2. Click on Documents in the left-hand column
3. Double click on My Games
4. Right-click on Rocket League
5. Select Rename
6. Type Rocket League Old
7. Tap the Enter Key on your keyboard
8. Try starting Rocket League again
I also recommend disabling the Windows Game Bar and DVR by following these steps:
1. Open Settings and go to Gaming.
2. Click on Game Bar and turn off the option to use Game Bar.
3. Click on DVR and do the same thing.
I also suggest disabling the Steam overlay. Steam has a global setting that will enable or disable the Steam overlay:
Open the Steam client and navigate to the Steam > Settings/Preferences > In-game tab. Check the box next to disable the Steam Overlay while in-game.
Additionally, each Steam game has its own setting for the overlay's functionality:
Right-click the game in your Library > Select Properties > Under the General tab, check the box next to disable the Steam Overlay while in-game.
Let me know how this works out for you. If you need any help along the way please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
See you on the fields soon!
