RL keeps alt tabbing randomly during games

I just recently had this issue along with my friend. For some reason Rocket League keeps minimizing or alt tabbing (however you wanna call it) out of the game. I've seen people say it's because of Microsoft office. But I disabled the background task exe and my friend straight up uninstalled office. But it's still happening. Any ideas on why this is happening and maybe a solution?

Same here. No idea how to solve it.

Feels like it only happens when i'm using steam overlay while in game.

Mine was doing the same thing. only way I found to "fix" it is play in borderless fullscreen. hope that helps you.

Could be a couple of things, if using Avast, the try a different AV. If using MSI afterburner try closing it while playing. Afterburner is what acted up for me

I don't use Avast nor does my friend. And neither of us use MSI afterburner.

interesting, only other program i have heard of doing it is task manager.

I'm using Avast, what am I supposed to do then ? Not gonna change just for one game.

You could try right clicking the Avast icon in the tray and selecting 'silent mode'.
I use Avast, it works fine for me, I have not had this issue.

If the solutions/workarounds in this thread don't help you, you could try to run the game and steam as administrator, disable focus assist on windows 10 or check for other software that might interfere with the game.

Nope, still alt tabbing

Can always validate your game files, sometimes it's the solution.

Tried both tips at the same time, so far it's working.
