Rocket League matchmaking is broken

I am Champ 2/3 player, my friend is Diamond 2/3. When we play doubles we just go against Champ 2/3 players all the time. Today we played as C2 and D3 and we go against C2 and C3 teams multiple times.

I've played 3s with C2, C1 and D3 and we go against 3 C3s multiple times.

I can't play with my friends any more because we NEVER get evenly matched. I understand if there is 1 rank difference, but from 2 ranks difference and more it becomes unplayable.

Is this a choice from Psyonix or just poor matchmaking system?

you're just dumb

psyonix does this so you dont play as a gc going against diamonds when you have a platinum friend in your party

matchmaking like that you wrote isn't broken. as KT. wrote before, it depends on the highest player.

I am 100% you are the dumb one, pretty sure you didn't even understand what I wrote. If I am GC and my m8 is platinum, why not match us with GC and platinum? Or at least GC and C2 or something. GC + Platinum will still face 2 GCs, which is horrible.

Do you get in your low IQ'ed head that this matchmaking ruins our experience? We can't play together anymore because every game we get destroyed.
