Button presses not registering sometimes

So I've been trying to play Rocket League with a PS4 controller but have been having intermittent issues with it. Some button presses just won't register (like a double jump, ball cam or even turning being delayed). But only in a match; all of these buttons work 100% of the time in the menu and they work flawlessly on other games. It works perfectly when using mouse + keyboard as well.

I've tried these 2 controllers in Rocket League on another PC and the problem doesn't happen there either. As far as I can figure out, it is exclusively in Rocket League, in match, on this computer when using a controller.

Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated, as I prefer playing RL with a controller and it's much more comfortable in my current PC setup.

I'm having similar issues with the Steam Controller - occasionally there will be a delay in processing controller input, almost like there's input lag. Only seems to have started happening post 1.50.
