Workshop maps appear black

I am running Linux openSUSE 42.3 and normally have no issue playing and enjoying rocket league. But when I try to use workshop, i can see the car but the maps appear black. I made a video showing it here
I tried pasting textures into the folder as mentioned in other discussions but that didn't fix it. Another discussion found a library that had to be installed, but it was already installed for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need any more details just ask and I will post them.

Exactly the same for me. Running Linux Ubuntu 16.04. I didn't find anything to solve the problem.

same on windows few maps not all

I believe I have found the solution to this issue.

Go to C:\Users\$USERNAME$\Documents\My games\Rocket League\TAGame\Config

There should be a file there named TASystemSettings.ini; open it and make sure the following values are set to True

DynamicLights=True
DynamicShadows=True
LightEnvironmentShadows=True
CompositeDynamicLights=True
SHSecondaryLighting=True
DirectionalLightmaps=True

Hopefully this solves your issue if it was still happening!

I looked in that file (for me it was $HOME/.local/share/Rocket\ League/TAGame/Config/Linux-TASystemSettings.ini), and the values were already set to that. I think these options are from the in game options menu, and I tried all of them many times to no avail.
That may be great for windows, but the linux issue is still present.

The only value that matters is DynamicLights=True. Everything else is preference.

(Mostly for the 0 latency nuts)
