Make sure all Discord, OBS or similar recording programs not causing this (if you are using Win10, check/google/disable Xbox DVR recording software) (also Nvidia Shadowplay and all smiliar recording programs). Make sure no macro or shortcut key created for switching sound sources.

Go to Sound > Playback and disable all other playback sources other than the main one you are using. Also go to Sound > Recording tab and disable sources (Yes, unplug all microphones also, bad/rogue mic). Make sure your main sound source is 16bit 44khz for testing (you can change it later whatever you want after testing). Restart your PC and just test the game like this at least 15-30mins. See if it is still the same.

Yeah this is really strange. I checked all the config files on the My Documents and game folders, and found one option about sound. Wanna try that?

Close the game and steam,
Go to main Rocketleauge game folder > .......\steamapps\common\rocketleague\Engine\Config\
> Backup "BaseSystemSettings.ini" file to a safe place.
> Open "BaseSystemSettings.ini" file with notepad or a similar program
> Find "UseDirectSound=True" and change it to > False
> UseDirectSound=False
Open steam and start game.

Edit: Also you may wanna change the engine audio to "Default" ("Garage">"Customize Car">"Engine Audio") See if this helps, it can be a game bug also.

Sorry to hear that, and good luck EpicSolutionZ LFT. There was a similar problem almost 1 year ago about sound cutting or goal/countdown sounds cutting etc if i am not wrong, but they fixed it on the next patch. You better visit here and open a ticket https://support.rocketleague.com/hc/en-us/articles/231179707-I-want-to-report-a-bug-or-glitch and hope they find a solution and help you. They can check log files. Have a good day.

I had this same problem, it was the cable to my controller being faulty. When I switched to ds4 windows to go wireless the problem stopped.

Turned out to be my CPU that was dodgy. RMA'd it and got a new one and it was fixed.
