Constant disconnect symbol/lag.

I'm taking into account the game just updated, but I am getting a constant disconnect symbol on games between friends in private servers and with random players in games. My game ran fine earlier, and a few days ago, but now it's getting to the point where it's becoming frustrating. Is this from the update?

If this happens double check your graphics settings in-game to make sure the update didn't set your fps limit to 60 for some reason; it did that to me two updates in a row a couple seasons ago. Also check to make sure a Windows update didn't set its max fps to 60; that also happened to me fairly recently, and everything looked crap.
