Game setting keep resetting when I restart the game

Whenever I launch Rocket League, and I make my custom car presets, and I change my chat, and then I restart my game maybe because I'm lagging or whatever, and everything resets. I've been searching for a solution for a long time, because I can't be bothered changing my settings every time I launch the game. I've removed all my replay files, I've changed my files from read only, and none of them work. Please help..

If you haven't fixed it yet, try deleting some of your replays or saving them somewhere else. they're usually found in my documents/ my games/ rocketleague/TAgame/demos

Thanks for bothering to reply, but as I said in the post, I already tried removing my replay files and it still replaces my settings with the part that it last saved from.

I also tried to contact steam support but i cant make a request of help

Try reinstalling, not a guarantee It'll work but there's a good chance it could.

Same. Happened 2 days ago first. Camera, button configurations all at defaults and no presets. Wasn't really in the mood to deal with it so I just quit. The next day everything was back to normal. Played some matches. It was fun. Launched the game today and all that stuff was reset again. Also been getting lots of lag and rubberbanding, which was never really a problem before.

From a positive point of view though, it's kind of like my crack pipe stopped working. "What should I do?", I asked myself. That's when I saw my guitar sitting in the corner, where it had been patiently waiting for weeks. Was a bit surprised at how much I remembered.

Right before this happened I had logged on from a different computer. Maybe that has something to do with it? The lag's been a problem for longer though.

Look, this thread was posted a long time ago but for you that need a solution, I believe that a fresh reinstall and getting rid of all your replays should fix the problem. If this doesn’t work try enabling steam data synchronisation and see if that works. Once again this was a long time ago and I don’t remember how I fixed it.

I’m sorry, but I cannot say how to fix your lag problem. Maybe it’s your internet, check if your ping spikes a lot. Also check the region that you’re playing in, that could be the issue. Just look at all things internet related because rubber banding is definitely not normal.

At this post already got brought back from the dead,

Steam synchronization is probably the cause of your problem, especially if you log in from another device (and play Rocket league) or switch between multiple accounts there is a bug chance it has to do with the steam cloud messing up.

This was probably the case of Particle
