Game crashes right when joining a game?

I've got hundreds of hours of gameplay with no problems on this system. No changes to hardware, and I haven't even updated Windows or anything else recently.

The game crashes to the desktop upon joining a multiplayer match. It doesn't always do it, but in the last 2 days it has happened 5 plus times.

same issue with me, plus i have a wierd graphical glitch at the menu, like theres z fighting on all of the textures

I'm on a laptop with an integrated Intel GPU so I don't think it has to do with that.

have the same problem... not in every match... so i guess its an specific car or model that messes up the game... im guessing that the devs will fix it in next patch so lets wait for a month??? and hope 4 the best

protip: play 1v1s or 2v2s till they fix it (the probability of finding the CTD car or thing that crashes the game is lower than in 3v3s) im playing 1v1s now... good for the skills

I'm wondering if it is a memory management issue, it seems to crash depending on the render quality I use.

i crash too randomly and before i never with more than 600hours ..

My game started crashing randomly too for the last 2 weeks. It's unplayable now. :(

yes RL unplayable ....... it is so annoying when you know that the game was working so well month ago ....... SO SAD !

Game crashes after join screen and bans EVERY single time... at least once each day i've tried... gg well failed? A fix would be nice...

Looks like they fixed this bug for a while then decided to bring it back. Linux version here. After being rock-solid for well over a year this has happened three times in as many days. Twice barely seconds into the match, once maybe a minute or so in. One moment the game is running fine; the next it has closed and left me at the desktop.

Happend to me twice today. They did a piss poor job with the linux port

Same here. 4 times this morning... I stop playing ranked, I'm at 40 minutes of ban, no rejoin option... only because of crashes... Thanks...

18.12.3 driver RX 580, can't play anymore. Anyone with this problem? Played yesterday with same driver and no problems. crash to desktop every game
