Game is horrible.
Nice to know that Epic care more about language than people smurfing and ruining ranked. I report smurfs they dont get banned meanwhile I get reported for saying some words and im banned within the same game

Yep, better anti trolling/smurfing mechanisms should be developed but it's not easy, if it was then it wouldn't be a problem in most multiplayer games.
the game was better when it costed money to play, now its a smurf paradise thats why i stoped playng mp, some split screen matches in weekends with budies and thats it, no longer buyng passes and stuff, game aint worth it, the smurfers are enouph to fill epic wallets

Game is an Epic Free2Play. I have kids playing it. I feel Language is the most important of those issues. Otherwise they'd have to set the age higher. If the age is set higher. They won't have as many active players. Even if the game is F2P.
Even though i enjoyed the game more when it wasn't Free2Play. I feel like the community is starting to become less toxic again. Or maybe it just helped to tick off that chat box :steammocking::MoonlighterShiny:
Hmm, wonder what those words were?
People don't get banned for smurfing because there's really no sure fire way to identify intentional smurfing without extensive human review and even if you could they would just change their behavior to make it less obvious. If a player played single player on playstation or xbox for a hundred hours before they start playing on epic games in muiltiplayer for the first time they would be better than a new player playing for the first time. Are you going to ban them because they didn't suck enough for a new player? Ok, so then they make a new account and just lose on purpose so they won't be "too good". You'll still be playing with smurfs if they want to smurf, just they'll intentionally lose enough that the detection algorithm won't flag them and people that didn't intentionally smurf and end up getting banned for somehow being too good in a match will flame your game forever.

The same logic goes for people that intentionally throw matches. Ok if you ban them for sitting still and not hitting the ball then they won't do that. They'll just play as normal except they will just stop playing defense and start ball chasing which will naturally just allow the other team to win because no one is defending. Lots of players play that way all the time and its not because they are trying to lose,, so how can you distinguish between people that do that on purpose to lose and people who are just really bad at the game? I play this game every day and I see people constantly make mistakes like lobbing the ball right to the opponent in front of their goal. its not because they are trying to lose. Its because they are either oblivious to the danger of doing so or they lack the car control to hit the ball with the direction and power that they intend to. I could do the same thing as them but I know better and I have the skill not to so I usually don't do that. However, if I wanted to lose I could surely just lob the ball in front of my goal in the same way they do and if the opponent has a modicum of skill they will win the match. It won't be as obvious as if I just park my car and stop playing but the result will be the same and my teammates will be just as frustrated.

Not to mention the amount of actually good and skilled people who are just having a win/lose ratio making them be lower. Many factors could play in to this. random team mates (like always, let's blame the team mates) personal life stuff in it self could literally affect the game play of a player. Just because people are in a lower rank than their skills suggest that they should. Doesn't mean that they are smurfin. I'm certain that in most cases people are just where their win/lose ratio have put them due to a diversity of random stuff, while they just played them game.

Games good, Teammates suck
Why do people act like there's some switch in Epic HQ labeled "Allow smurfs" and they are just refusing to turn it off? They COULD do it, but they don't care enough to do it. Makes no sense.

The community is far from less toxic..if anything it's more. I literally played 5 games today (ranked 1s) and every one...every one...I start with GLHF. I usually get a thank you or nothing. By the end of the game (even if I'm winning) they're calling me a loser, telling me I suck, or to GFM. I played a game of 2s the other day where I carried the team from behind 4 goals all while my teammate called me a loser and that I should uninstall and so on. He literally sat in goal and allowed them to score the winning shot and still I said nothing. Every bit of positivity I carry into this game is wiped away by people being horrible.
