this is true infortunately, reported many many smurfs and NEVER banned anyone. but if someone says "♥♥♥♥ you" or anything close to that they get banned instantly...

there was a massive rank reset this season. many players got 300mmr removed and dropped large amounts of ranks. It's going to take awhile for that to iron itself out.

Champs-GC's with <200 games played, scoring >600 points per game on average on their wins, and have <100 pts on all their losses. Often they are Epic players with RL-related names, even. Lot of times, especially this early, it's an unranked smurf teaming with their friend who is 300-400 MMR below their current rank, a plat-low diamond player. There are plenty of sites out there to track stats. And besides, It's really not even that hard to see when people are clearly a full skill rank above you playing in your rank.

There have been deep studies into it by well-known and trustworthy people in the community that have stated smurfs appear far more often than most people want to believe. But keep fooling yourself, there are 0 smurfs in the lobbies. Lol.

absolutely pointless. it only encourages smurfs to further wreak havoc across all playlists. at this point it's way too late to take any action against smurfs.
even if they limited account creation, made ranked play possible at lvl 500, banned anyone with weird stats relative to their overall playtime, you would still have to deal with millions of accounts that smurfs already created.

I'm not joking when I say this game is dying. I have witnessed it first hand that people I have never heard of, ask me if I remember them, because we played earlier today on his main acc...

at this point people need to accept that psyonix is braindead. the people working on this game have no idea wth they are doing. I wouldn't be surprised if it's run by AI at this point because no human being with a functional prefrontal cortex, would be this oblivious about the issues of their own game.

I am a Older rocket league player I am putting in 70 hours on rocket league, but there is certain people trying to keep me from ranking up and preventing me from making my dream come true, I need help getting a RL account on steam but it is hard to get it. I need it for workshop maps since bakkesmod is not safe.

They should just limit the amount of accounts you can have per IP or even better use HWID so that you can only have like 1 or 2 accounts on a PC or maybe track how often each account is used and if it was to constantly switch to others after so much playtime. I'm sure there is a way to stop the abuse of the mmr system but why would they care, the game has been out for awhile and they have made large sums of money off of it even with the smurf accounts. Honestly though they should have never made it free to play, it was way better back then.

there are far easier solutions to this problem:
- ban anyone with bizarre stats ( 200 wins and 0 losses or managing to get multiple achievements in a short amount of time )
- you can only attend ranked if you are lvl 300+
- pay 10 quid to attend ranked
- throw smurfs in their own respective queue

there are probably even more solution to this problem but then again epic is thriving off of the same people creating multiple accounts. they can boast the artificial and inflated numbers to shareholders and furthermore if only one out of 10 buys anything with hard currency, it's a win for epic.

good one, but the easiest way imo is to link every rl account to the mobilphone-number.
Today everyone uses smartphone 2FA, also rl trading needs it.
