There are so many ways to refute this claim that I could write a book about it.
I looked up everyone here who disagreed with me, and none of them were any higher than Diamond. If you're actually that much better than your teammates, why aren't you winning more games than you're losing? Bad teammates certainly can hold you back a game, but they definitely can't hold you back a rank or more. At that point, it's all on you to get gud.
This is the mentality of someone who is carried. Participation prize winner.
On the other hand, your opponents are just as dumb and you can get wins that you shouldnt have gotten.
That being said, ranking up in 3s can turn out to be more of a grind than 2s or 1s since your individual skill doesnt have quite the same impact.
Something i have noticed is that people who complain about their teammates being bad often rotate very poorly and make the game extra hard on their mates. This is especially true for those who think they are the best player on the field and therefore feel like they "have to carry the team" which ends in excessive ball chasing and constant solo plays.
If you really want to rank up, then focus on yourself, take notice of the mistakes you keep making and learn from them. You are the only constant in your matches.
If you feel like your teammates constantly hold you back, watch replays from their perspective and find out if your rotations made their game hard to play. You would be surprised how often you cut them off or left them alone.
And last: Flaming your mates will ensure a loss
Funny to see a diamond player telling a GC that he got carried :D
Also, so far everyone who came into my defense are all at least mid-champ or higher, while everyone who's called me delusional are no higher than diamond. I'm noticing a pattern...
lol I was champ three years in a row grinding with randoms. It's clear OP is carried.
2. Continue saying I'm carried even though you've never played with me and the fact I've been in GC for over a month.
It's funny seeing the reactions of people when I tell them they're wrong about being the victim of a bad matchmaking system out to get them and them having to consider the possibility that maybe, just maybe, they're actually as bad at the game as the people around them. I had the same mentality I had now when I was in the low ranks, and look where that got me. Your ego is the only thing stopping you from making the jump to the next rank, not your teammates or "smurfing" opponents lol
