If the ball rolls too far to the back of your car, let go of throttle. If the ball is too far to the front of your car, increase throttle.
Workshop map " Dribble Overhaul 2 ". That's how I learned. Best most beneficial workshop map for improving. VERY difficult at first, but eventually you'll find your self running it in under 15 minutes before each session to warm up.
If you're on EPIC I don't know, I've heard people say there are ways to play those maps but it's more complicated then subscribing on STEAM.
if the ball is on the left side of the car you turn left to make sure it stays on. same the other way. if its falling off the front, use boost to bring it back up. if your too fast and its going off the back then let go of gas or brake. the rest is just practicing so you get the feel of it.
and you should never need to use power slide when dribbling. only if you want to do some free styling ground plays or something. if a video told you to do that then their wrong.
changing directions is not something you really need to learn. it comes as you get more comfortable with the ball on the car. regardless, a simple dribble and flick gets the ball forward really well by itself. unless you want to become the god of ground plays then i wouldn't bother even in games. way easier to defend ground plays and less punishing, unless its 1v1.
I like to picture my car as being dome shaped, don't focus on the visual look of your car it's a lie.
then aim to keep your car exactly in the white circle.
You must match the speed of the ball with your car.
It takes practice but once you know how to do it, it's actually easier than it seems.
Like FF said It will give you the basis to start learning. If you're just messing around trying to figure it out for yourself, it's not a good use of your time when there's tutorials and tips videos out there.
