You have to play casual for 30 matches when you first start playing Rocket League before you can play competitive and after that you should pretend that casual doesn't exist.
Since they added penalties for backing out of Casual's AND/OR because when i join casuals, i am placed on teams that are always down 0-4+ score...
Comp = Casuals
Tourney = Comp
& if it 0-7 u shouldve voted earlier.
I'm not saying you won't still have problems with teammates not wanting to forfeit clearly lost games in competitive, but every match both teams will start out with a full team of humans, not you and two brain-dead AI vs a pre-made team of three, and every match will at least start out at an even score with your team having a chance to win so there will be more minutes of play where the quality of play is higher, other players still feel like its possible to win, and those other players still have a reason not to just goof off and shoot the ball into their own goal for the hell of it or stop playing completely to try to convince their teammate it is time to forfeit.
This game is not made for quitters. Yet 95% of people playing this game are quitters.
Keep casual game casual. Let me have fun playing against better players.
