Do people play anything other than the Fennec and Octane?

I mean I know they have the Octane hitbox but there's a lot more cars that look good that have that hitbox.
Not to mention it's all wannabe RLCS pros that talk trash the whole match

Also you will learn that hitbox means nothing in the grand scheme of things.
There always exists rotational & air roll speed & placebo, if you put thousands of hours into dribbling with the Octane, you would realize that it's not the same as dribbling with the Fennec because of the car's visual framework.
Especially ball/dribble catches.

Nah I'm just judging them by looks, Twinzer is just an Octane Ripoff, and Harbringer is just a truck, I can agree with the Mudcat & Takumi tho.

Also I'm only plat cause I stopped playing ranked. Brings me more stress than fun having to sweat the whole time. I'd probably be sitting around mid to high diamond/maybe low champ otherwise, but it's not worth all that stress

C1 Breakout here. There’s a lot of cars that look way better than Octane/Fennec but in reality it all comes down to preference.

I believe a good chunk comes down to a bandwagon effect nowadays.

The Delorian is the coolest car in the game, with it's unique boost and demo explosion, and all it's wonderful sounds.
Being seen rarely now-a-days makes it even more cool.
It's a tough one to main, but it's a good change in my car rotation.

I started the game with dominus, 6 years ago. I tryed everything, with old, new hitboxes. I enjoyed the hybrid cars, mostly venom, nimbus, and jager. But I always go back to that sweet dominus. And for the octane... I just can't.

I have 16519 wins with the Gizmo, 8 with the Octane, and 14 with the Fennec.

But the fact that the devs only push out octane decals to appeal to esports fanboys really annoys me.
