[Suggestion]Team Color- and Map- preference
I have two minor suggestions which might increase the overall enjoyment of the game for most people.

1. Even though technically every map in the map pool is the same from a Gameplay perspective some of them seem to run at a lower framerate than the other ones(most noticeable the rain map/setting). While I don't notice a big difference when I play alone, I certainly do so when using a multiple Monitor setup in 'Splitscreen Mode'. I think it would be really nice if it was possible to chose a preferred map in the options menu (similar to the Starcraft II Ladder System), maybe just for ranked matchmaking.

2. When I play matchmaking with my Friend we sometimes get confused(mostly just for a split second, in rare occasions) on which team we are. This happens
mainly because less then a minute before we were playing in a different color(thanks to your amazingly fast matchmaking). I don't really know if this would be possible or if this would be too much effort to implement but I think the best Solution would be an option where one could chose a team color so that the own team
would always appear in that color(to that user). For example: if two opponents both chose Blue as their preferred color their own car/team would appear blue to both of them while the other team would appear orange to them. (Basically like a disguised Spy in TF2 that appears differently to either of the teams). Once again I don't know if this would be too hard to implement or even possible at all without doing all from scratch.

While I'm here I might as well mention one minor bug that my Friend noticed during Split screen play: First of all it is really awesome that each user can set their own options and even have the game remember them. The only option that seems to be a little bit bugged is when one of us chooses Hold Ball Camera and the other one doesn't, the second player always has to push the Y button once at the beginning of each new match for the setting to take effect. Once you get used to it its really not a big problem but obviously still a little inconvenient, especially if you forget to do it.

Thanks for reading this, I haven't had that much fun playing a game semi-competitively since my 'Call of Duty 2' Days almost 10 years ago.
