Error 71

Hey everyone, been playing this game with no trouble for days. Halfway through playing today, in every game now I get the red connection icon and then about 30 seconds later it takes me back to the menu and states the 'error 71'. It is not my connection or my download/upload speed as they are fine.

Any help is appreciated. I know I'm not the only one getting this error.

Just confirming I started getting the same "error 71" this evening, after playing for 3 hours without problems. Also have a solid connection and a low ping.

same here! ive played this game since about two week ago but ive been only geting this error this last 2 days.every match ive been in today when the match is about 2 min left then suddenly everyone else stop moving then soon theres the error 71 message and im being sent back to lobby. i live in jakarta, indonesia and i usually plays in oceania server with 100 - 160 ping but it never lags.

Same thing. I can't figure out what the deal is. My friend on 8.1 sitting next to me can play but I can't? same network and everything. Only difference is I am on Windows 10. I can even play this on my ps4. :(

I found that i needed to port forward the steam servers and all was okay. Very unusual.

I have this problem every match. i can confirm that port forwarding doesnt help. firewall is allowed. since the last patch i dealing with this problem (europe servers)
