AI too strong
I really think the developers need to tone down the AI, or at least adjust it so it matches online players' skill. This is a big issue especially when people drop from games. I played a game with me + 2 AIs vs 3 humans. We won like 7-0. The it was me and 2 humans vs 3 AI and we lost like 8-1. AIs routinely pull off aeriel shots no humans would plan, coordinate insanely well compared to randoms, and have reaction times humans can't acheieve. Really think devs should look into this, especially as playerbase begins to shrink down and there are more AI subs in games.

git gud, because AI doesn't do anything out of the ordinary. Learn how to play the game. Simple as that. You're just used to seeing so many newbies drive around doing nothing.

Has nothing to do with MY skill. The AI skill is much hugher than either mine, my teammates, or my opponents, resulting in games where the AI do everything, which isn't fun. Obviously I've seen plays by Kronovi and Gambit. If they were routinely tossed into my casual matches, I'd be pissed too.

Im playing for a week now and the AI is too strong.
When two of them are in the team of the enemies they make insane goals.
Azaltair Jul 23, 2015 @ 12:26am
Really? :\ you should play more against IA for your own, go play against Profesional, because "Star"(I dont know how is called in english, the last difficulty) are insane when you start to play, i actually playing a Season vs IA for 36 weeks in Star Mode, and i am 8-2 winning leaderboard :D, just play defensive against IA, play as goalkeeper and see IA style, they sucks on defense, they just hit the ball to enemy goal.
PD: When you play against IA u improve a lot as longshot and defense :D

When I played season mode against bots I raged at how bad my teammates were, they scored more own goals they scored regular goals

I used to lose to Pro bots a lot. Now it's either me losing 3-4 on overtime or me + 2x Pro bots beating the other team to ground. 4-1 is my current best in Exhibition mode vs 3x Pro bots.

I've also noticed that my skill level has increased in online by doing this. All Star bots, you are next.

Rookie bots do that unfortunately.

All I have to say is no. It doesnt take long to get better than the bots. Its such a short window of them being better than a humam that it would be a waste to make them worse than they already are.

Sorry but i would agree with the git gud comment.
The AI is predictable and easy to ram/destroy if you decide to play versus the AI on a man to man coverage defence.

Myself being a defencive minded player, will always look for the other teams cars first the ball 2nd.This is to get some awareness of the situation before picking a course of action.
I call out my mark so my 2 friends can decide what they will do and i pretty much get flamed to all hell during a match for playing man on man.
I've made countless people quit and ended up playing man to man versus the AI.

There's a bit of a learning curve. If the AI is "doing everything" then it should be pretty easy for you to run amok.

It could be you and 2 AIs versus just me and I'd have a pretty decent shot at winning. I'm not like top tier good or anything, the AI just really is that bad that they don't even really count as other players if you're playing remotely like you should.

Some of your problem might just be with mechanics... the right buttons/stick at the right times. But I'd bet the bigger problem is more that you (and the people you're playing with) are trying to do the wrong things, so even doing them well, the results suck.

Your next game, try not driving at the ball unless nobody is immediately close to it. Try to keep yourself between the ball and your goal, predict where the ball might go and position yourself to hit it. It won't be phenomenal, but you'll probably notice a difference in how well you do.

I'm with Stay Frosty. AI is not at all that pro or impossibly good. You just need to play differently against it than human players.
