Check your end, before blaming the servers. Get a wired connetion to play. The PS4 players are the worst for high pings. Thank goodness you can block PS4 out now in the settings under "MISC" check turn off crossplay.
very true. we asians demand an asian server. can a moderator respond to this? any news from psyonix regarding asia server?
They will just tell you to use Oceania, whether it works or not.
Sincerely,
US East
And btw. Hitlers Toilet. Using such name shows your brainless attitude !!!!!!!!!
I played a match and won, no lag at all.
Played the next one with mostly the same ppl and no one was lagging other than me. If I'd lag for maybe 30s-1m I could actually believe it, but it lagged all the 5 mins...
Next match was fine again...
Well.. Oceania is not Asia and I just tried playing there a moment ago and its actually even worst at 420 ms ping. Totally unplayable.
When I use the vpn to connect, the ping is 300~400 even 700.
Can anyone fix this?
Forget about those arbitrary numbers (nobody would've noticed if it wasn't on the screen) and ask yourself; Does a ping of 200 mean I lose more/play worse/can't compete?!?
This is not a FPS game where a nano-second window is needed for making a difference (or getting a shot on somebody). Most times you line up the shot several seconds before you hit the ball. So what does a 1/10th of a second make for a difference?
I can't see any skill advantage for players with 10-20 ping over ppl with 100-200 ping. Can you?!?
What a bunch of BS!!!!
Somebody with 200+ ping doesn't affect anything on your end. You're talking out your "behind" there!
Unfortunatly you are totally wrong. But whatever, you seems to know it better :))
Volodesi (one of the mods here) has stated over and over again that any problem with connectivity/ping is only affecting the player himself (or herself). Not everybody else. But what do I know? 250 hours might not have made me a great RL player but I got plenty of observations on ping !!!
And with what Volodesi stated I think I'm pretty safe with my statements... Now tell me> WTF do you know? Any sources?!?
