The ping is largely irrelevant at this point from what I can tell. I live on the west coast and the games I play on west coast servers (assumedly so since my ping is around ~15) are actually the laggiest and most unbearable. I have absolutely no idea why this is the case. I play on OC or EU servers where my ping is high and the games are far more playable and it doesn't really hinder my performance in the match on any noticeable level.

All I can conclude from this is that their west coast servers are just terrible and need to be fixed.

Ping is not an issue at all as far as I've experienced. It's not a first person shooter where miliseconds can matter between a kill or a death. I honestly don't even notice whether other players have a ping above 200 or if I have a high ping myself. I think most of the people shocked about the high pings in this game are the people who come from FPS games.

my ping is all over the map, normally it's around 30 but tonight it's been jumping anywhere between 100 and 900 :(

If you have low ping and get lag/rubber banding. It's because of server frame-rate. If the server has too much load the frame rate(servers) drops and makes the game feel slow/sluggish and you'll rubber band when driving too quickly or performing actions too quickly.

250 it's the real limit, tested myself due to crappy service for a few hours, when you get to 300 it's truly unplayable.
It is true this game has a great lag compensation but 300... Well, i was just a burden for my team and I left.

I think the people need to stay in servers but with a minor priority bandwith connection, so they can play with people who get the sam problem.

This is not the best solution but it can be temporary :D

Being my ping always below 60 I can tell you this:
They have the right to play as best as possible too, plus their ping doesn't affect you directly, whenever it is truly unplayable they will quit without being forced, just like I did.

100-200 ping, I hit stuff I dont mean to hit, I miss stuff I mean to hit, I rubber band off other players, they hit stuff before I do even though I hit it first for me.

Wait, that's what that is!? I always thought that was my ping randomly jumping to ~300ms that was causing that.
I seem to get this happening at certain times, it's a real pain to play with.
