There is no reason for 4 v 4. This game does NOT need dedicated goalies.
The dedicated goalie is just an example. That same person can be whatever the team decides.
I asked for valid arguments against this mode not kneejerk reactions.
For me the only way 4 would work is if one player is a dedicated goalie but the problem is you cannot force it onto players. 4 Players on the ball would just create chaos and take away from the skill. How many times has it happened to you when you have a clear shot on goal and then team mates go for the same ball and knock the ball away. Also there would be less power ups for everyone. The devs would have to make bigger dedicated 4v4 stadiums for it to work.
I see your point although I wouldn't want to dilute the player pool too much. Also I think you would be lucky to end 50% of the game with all 8 players, ppl quit or disconnect all the time, so frustrating.
Yeah, there seems to be a bug that causes 1-2 people on your team to leave if they opposing team scores in the first minute, regardless of the circumstance.
Lol, the bug seems to reside in the players brains.
