Xbox 360 Controller does not work in Rocket League

I bought a nrw Xbox 360 controller but it doesn't work, but just in rocket league. I also reinstalled the driver several times and the game, but it is still not working. Can someone help me ?

Are you sure you haven't connected another device like a joystick or steering wheel? If so disconnect that one.

Sometimes games get confused when having multiple controllers/joysticks etc. connected.

I have used both the XBONE and the PS4 controller but it is sporadic. Sometimes the problem is it consider the mouse and keyboard as player 1 and my controller as player 2. is there anyway to make it "default" to my controller?

(this may be the problem OP has as well see if you can press start on you game pad and if player 2 joins in)

controller is player 1 but nothing is working now ill try it with a xbox360 controller emulator

i used a ps3 dualshock 3 controller and it worked perfectly there was form of delay or mis-inputs

1. Download the .exe for 32Bit games unzip it if its a .zip and move the .exe to C:\.../Steam/SteamApps/common/rocketleague/Binary/32Bit/


2. Start the .exe as Administrator (Right-Click)

3. Click "Yes" on every dialogue and search for informations on web in 3rd Popup.

4. Click on Save and start the game ;)

You have to make step 1-4 for every single game just one time.

The problem for me on this issue is that the x360ce does not work. It wont open or load. Just nothingness. I have installed the 64 version of it earlier for another game who only runs in 64, but I dont think that's whats stopping it from open.

Anyone got a clue? Want so bad to play this game split screen with my GF.

you need the 32bit version for this game my friend :) nothing else just the exe

I use Xbox 360 controllers with this game all the time, works solo or splitscreen (with 2). If you are positive your controllers are working on other games, then it has to be something specific.

Also, I don't use any controller software other than the Microsoft Accessories 1.2 disc it came with.

If you haven't already, try disabling any additional controller software, or verify the game cache integrity using Steam.
