How do you do that Barrel Roll?

I've seen many do it online but I can't seem to do it. I can front/back flip and rotate but not barrel roll. How is this done?

You have to lag in the general direction of the ball.

if you are using kb+mouse its done same way as you do frontal flip..instead of pressing forward you just press to either side when you do the first or second jump (or in the air during an aerial)

The tutorials must've changed in seven years, because Air Rolling isn't covered in 2022.

If you're talking about rolling in the air the specific term is called "Air Roll." Check your key bindings in the settings under controls on the video games interface. It will tell you the specific key/button that is bound to the "Air Roll" command.
