Your usage of ball cam?

Hey guys, enjoying the game and just have a question for other players, how are you using the ball cam?
I'm still getting used to it as i find i miss the ball when trying to score using this camera mode, so i'm tending to switch to forward view when 'running' with the ball, then using ball cam for midfield and defence.

So how are you guys using it?

If the ball is directly above me, the ball cam is off. I use the indicator that appears on the ground to keep track of the height and location. And if I am going for Boost, I turn the ball cam off as well. Otherwise It is always on.

I use ball cam all the time no matter what. I tried it with the normal cam but I always lose track of the ball. I know there is an indicator but you only get a rough idea where the ball is and you can't really see and predict the balls movement. With the ball cam I have always a focus on the ball which is much better to navigate and hit the ball for me, and to predict where the ball will go etc. I don't see any downside of using the ball cam.

I keep ball cam on all the time. As I get "better" at the game, I find that I don't need to be anywhere that I can't use the ball cam. If you get used to switching it may be better for situational awareness in jumpball situations, but is too many buttons to mash. I can do pretty well without it.

Either way, it takes time to get used to going ball cam all the time or switching out. I prefer the less button pushing option for now and am pretty good with it, MVP quite a bit in MP. All star bots still destroy me.

I'd say I use it about 30% of the time. I've found it most helpful when defending or waiting for a pass from a teammate. When I'm making shots, I prefer to have it off.

I always have it on.
It's a straight line from your car to the ball... Makes it a lot easier to predict where the ball will end up when giving it a bash.

I always have it on. It reminds me of circle straffing by always keeping the enemy (the ball) in view and then striking at the right times.
