Anyone else having a sound issue?

I launch the game all is fine and I get to the main menu. I expected to hear some music but nothing then I go to a bot game to make sure I had sound even. There was no sound at all it wasn't my headset because I was listening to a podcast simultaneously. Any ideas on the issue/any one else having this.

I have an Razer Kraken Pro 7.1 and I fixed it with:

1.) Open Razer Synapse
2.) Go to your Kraken -> Audio
3.) unmark the checkbox on the bottom left (audionormalisation)

I hope that is helpful for some ppl. :)

I HAVE NO AUDIO GIVEN TO MY MATES THRU MY MIC :( ....in steam mic test ist good ! works ....but nothing to hear from me in RL ! :(

Bump for this man right here. I've been struggling trying to play with my buddy over teamspeak for awhile with Rocket League with my stupid Kroma headset, this fixed it. Thanks!

I have a Razer Kraken Pro, the non 7.1. I use a audio jake to USB adapter to stop the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crackling noise my ♥♥♥♥ onboard audio makes. when I opened this ♥♥♥♥ game it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ my mic and sound, don't get me wrong, I still have sound but its mad distorted and sounds like its coming through a tin can.

I tried all the things posted in this discussion, sadly nothing worked. I don't have that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Razer surround sound crap installed so I can't uninstall it. I tried opening my game with the headset unplug and plugging it back in after I have sound on my speakers, this also had no effect.

Is there anyone that can help me? Thanks

Razer Synapse has a mixer on its own and RL was muted over there ;__;

I am having the exact same problem with Logitech G430 Gaming Headset (Surround Sound 7.1) but I did have noise before I installed the Logitech drivers so I could use the surround sound, and it works fine with every other game but Rocket League :/

yes somehow rocket league was muted whenever i plugged in the headset so i had to go to sound systems to get it unmute it
