[Solved] Can't hear my car's engine sound !

I can't hear any noise my car makes. I hear other cars flawlessly, but I can't hear a single tone from mine.
The only exception is when I do not focus the camera on the ball and drive up a wall on the right side (so the car is at the left side of my screen) I can hear the engine very slightly on the right part of my headset.

Anyone can help me ?

I have this problem occationally. Seems to help just restarting the game. (for me anyways)

For those on Xbox, I've had the same problem. Same solution as listed here- just go to settings and change the audio output to stereo instead of 7.1.

I play on windows, and use a Logitech gaming headset, and I fixed it by going to settings > search "audio" > find and click "manage audio devices" > it then said that enhanced settings were disabled for the headset, so I re-enabled them and I could hear my own car again!

I am using a focusrite audio interface and not installing the driver caused me not to hear my car ingame.

I was having the exact same issue, couldn't even hear the engines when customizing in my garage. I have a Focusrite 18i20 interface. I re-installed the drivers, and the issue was fixed immediately.

Just use the cat engine sound, then everyone can hear it
