x360ce not working?

So back when I used Windows 7, I could not get x360ce to work for ANYTHING. I upgraded to Windows 10 when the upgrade first because available and upon getting this game, I tried x360ce again and it worked, no questions asked.

I recently had a PC issue that forced me to reinstall Windows 10 (through the Troubleshooting self installation) and now that I have Rocket League back on my PC, I put all the pre-req programs needed for x360ce to work properly, DirectX updates, etc. (Literally anything you google that says "you need these 3 programs" on your PC, I have on my PC.

I keep getting the same error in the same order.

If I fresh launch x360ce, it asks to make the .dll file, I allow it. It sees my controller properly and downloads the corresponding files needed, but then it gives me the "Failed to load 'xinput1_3.dll' System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The specified module could not be found"

I don't get why it can't load the file that it quite literally just created...

What controller are you using? I use a DS3 controller with the SCP Xinputwrapper. It works flawlessly. http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller

The SCP package works for DS2/3/4. Although Win 10 isn't stated as supported I've had zero problems. I gotta say that my NIS reported a trojan on the webpage. My WOT extension didn't. The driver package didn't trigger any warnings after download and virus scan. Just thought it'd be fair to mention that.

A Power A; Model 145233. It's a USB Wired controller for the PS3 and I haven't had an issue with it working before my reinstall of Windows 10.

Ever since the update my friends controller has imput the controls backwards. I am using x360 but its not changing the controls correctly. up, down, left, right are all backwards not sure what to do now.

I would say in your case, try remapping the controls through Rocket League and not through x360ce. You can also inverse the right analog controls through RL. If up is down, etc.

And now it just randomly works. The light is green on x360ce and everything is ok.

I didn't install or do anything.

Broken for 2 days and magically is all "You know what, ta-da~!"
