known issue.
some players are experiencing this since some time.
It has been added in the official website and hopefully will be fixed in the upcoming game updates.
No fixes found as of now.
2.
could you list me the pc hardware components?
is the operating system updated to the latest available build?
meanwhile, try typing the following command via cmd (with administrator privileges):
sfc /scannow
to be able to find (if any) possible damaged system files.
There is also an official guide made by psyonix, but its pretty related to crashes happening during the launch:
https://support.rocketleague.com/hc/en-us/articles/360054169294
there you can see if there are possible good advices to try out for your issue.
let me know
thanks, there actually were.
Did the requirements for the game increase? I'm on an up to date win10, i5-7400, gtx 1060 and 16 gb ram
Anyway hopefully that solves it, but if the issue remains, is this even the right place to post this kind of stuff?
Thanks again.
rip
From what I know no changes has been made to the system requirements.
If users are unable to find possible fixes on the forums, in the RLcord or online, best suggestion is always to contact the support.
could be related to another new known issue lol:
Even if it seems that you are experiencing those issues outside the match as well.
Is the game installed on an SSD or HDD?
the game is installed on a 4-ish years old westerndigital hard drive, should still be fine right? I don't think any other game installed on it had any issues. I guess I could move the game to the sdd to see if it helps.
But sadly it doesnt freeze in menu (rarely happens there), but it happens either when the match starts or right in the middle of it. Only thing I can do is open task manager and close it. Doesnt even react to Alt + F4.
Happens from time to time and is new to me since this season. Really annoying, because I can't join back in the game with my teammate, because it even kicks me out of the group when it happens.
Thanks for this!

"1. sometimes the game won't launch when I start it on steam, usually works the second time I try
2. the client has been randomly freezing for well over 10 seconds, mostly in the game menu, but I had it happen during a match once"
