I believe Backfire takes the cake.

Scarab isn't the worst. It was close to the best in the first game.

I haven't played it myself, it just looks like it should be awful given how much % of it is wheel, which means weak wet noodle hits. Unless its hitbox is misrepresenting the look of the car, which SHOULD be awful for Rocket League.

All of its lower extremities are wheels, anyway.

The hit boxes aren't represented by the car shapes. All hit boxes are more-or-less a rectangular box.

This is pretty much how all the hit boxes for all cars are.

Yeah but you know what I mean about wheels? Wheel hits are soft, body hits are hard, so the Scarab should hit the ball like a soft breeze most of the time?

That's only if you hit with the under-side of the car.

Why is that? It's long and turns tight?

It's an absolute eyesore though.

Cars actually matter in this game apart looking?

The handling is noticeably different between cars. For example, I always drive the Merc (personal preference) but compared to all other cars its turn-radius when powersliding is really bad. Most cars can do a 180 turn without too much effort, Merc will barely make it past 90 degrees

Yes cars matter, and i dont believe hitboxes are more or less same. Why so many people use Octane lol, becouse it looks nice or becouse it has best shape for easy aerials? I personally played a lot with Octane and Dominus, and for example with dominus i have really good shooting by corner of car, can shoot much better angles than with octane.
Differences arent big, but when u play a lot with some cars, u can feel it.

Maybe it's just my imagination, but since I switched from Merc/Road Hog to Delorian/Dominus/Takumi I actually started to feel flying better. Also big cars seems to get their balance faster on landing after loosing control mid-air.

Probably because Merc/Hog have such a flat front, it's hard to tell exactly where it's pointing.

The sharper nosed cars are more precise in that regard.

They're longer. If a player with Road Hog and a player with Dominus challenge the same aerial with the exact same flight distance, precision and reaction time, the Dominus player will reach the ball first 100/100 times. I don't care what anyone says, I've seen this hundreds of times (I tried to make Road Hog work for 300 hours and gave up, switched to Dominus and entered god mode)

Merc and Backfire both have pretty bad turning stats both when power sliding or when turning normally. That probably makes one of them the worst car. I think Merc would probably be harder to do aerials with because it is taller.
