People in the wrong server...

Does anyone else often see people in theirs games with 250+ ping because they're not in the right server? I see it so often in ranked solo standard (Oceania servers) that I expect it to happen in every game. I'm not sure if it's a case of people not knowing what Oceania is, but it's incredibly frustrating and in my opinion it ruins games (and ranks). I've lost a lot of points due to this. Is there anything that can be done about it? I'm absolutely sick of it and I'm sure many other people who experience this feel the same way.

It's not me, it's other people in Oceania servers with 250+ ping because they're not from the Oceania region.

But they are on PS4 or PC? I've noticed that when I play with only people with PC I have less ping, maybe in that cases I'm connected to a PC Server as well.

I think most seem to be on PS4, lately anyway, but there's also some on PC.

some people don't know they can change their region in the find games online menu thing. spread the word maybe?

I try to. I don't tend to see the same people again after they come into the server with high ping. I could disable cross play but then I either won't get a match or it takes a long time to find one.

maybe they cant find match in their server (which is take so long), so they add another region to play ranked. on a serious note, RL should add more server.

That makes sense, and I'm not sure many people outside Oceania know what Oceania is. Most times when I play late at night, it's still a decent time for people in Europe and a good time for people in the US.

yeah they should rename it to AU-NZ not oceania, since most player coming from there.

I completely agree, especially seeing as the other servers (to my knowledge) are recognisable by name worldwide, everyone knows where they are.

Doesn't affect your gameplay.

Uh? it does affect everyone's gameplay, his damn car is never where it actually is or where you actually see it, it just suddenly pops 10 meters further.

Unfortunately there's nothing much that can be done, but tbh it didn't happen too often so far (someone with 200+ ping)

Doesn't affect mine.
I have beaten and been beaten by people with high ping.
