New server locations maybe?
I do have a 1gbps connection from a good ISP, but I can't get a latency lower than 60-70ms in this game. Where are the servers located in Europe ? Looks like they dont appreciate adding some in eastern europe, for players living there.
Also it varies a lot, and its not a problem by my side, in any other games I do get lower ping values like 20-30ms, its more like a Rocket League problem.

Rl had always have trash netcode. People have been complaining since year 1. It wont change, deal with it.

I'm in the UK, I get around 20 Ping, which is as far West as it gets, IDK where the servers are in EU tbh, 20 isn't bad per se, but it is for RL specifically, because their servers are just THAT bad, I get packet loss on 20 ping so I'm not sure having better ping would even help you

The servers have always been a bit faulty ever since the game got F2P..
Yuppa, you've got the correct idea; They can't handle such a big playerbase, and because they don't have ways to maintain them, the quality doesn't improve. It can't improve.

I'm not sure how it is in other regions, but I have rarely seen complaints about North American servers, while European and Asian servers were very commonly brought up.

Actually, my lowest ping was 35-38ms in the past, now it seems it can't go lower than 50, its not that bad, but it always fluctuates, and I'm on cable not WiFi and have a good connection, seems more like a fault on their side.

Ill deal with it then, we don't have any other options anyways
