First game, 1 guy who we thought was afk, wasnt moving, later to find out, hes "tapping" forward, wtf , why?
Couldnt leave = ban.
Second game, pure freestyler premade ego stokers - GC's - flying everywhere, no fun, no fair, garbage.
Couldnt leave = ban.
few more games in, teammate decides to start helping other team, went from 3-1, to 3-7.
Couldnt leave = ban.
You see, CASUAL exists for a real specific reason, so people can feel free to leave games, regardless of penalties, because thats the luxury CASUAL gives, its NOT competitive, its NOT ranked - i am not wanting to place anyone in a horrible position, if i have to leave due to real life issues, or unfair MM, so i chose casual, but to add bans to this now, is just.....honestly, it really shows you the mindset of these fk ups who are actually in charge of ♥♥♥♥.
Secconth Game if smurf = bannable per cheating thus you report for that.
Third game same as first game.
Make use of that report button, instead of leaving. This isnt a public playground where you're saying "I will do that w/o consequences".
No, Casual doesnt exist for that specific reason, It never has.
Its just a game mode where ranks artnt severly taken into account...... Always has been.
Narh.
You can leave a match without being banned...
OP is going nuts for nothing.
As it is right now you will only get your ban if you leave several matches.
This is to prevent leavers that rage quit because they're 1 goal down.
Those players jump from match to match until they find a match they can win.
If that match proves to be a loss then they leave before that and find a new match.
The problem with casual was that actual matches rarely happened as most people didn't want to face a loss so they just left.
Most matches were played 1 player and 2 bots against 3 players.
The 3 players were always on the winning team and the 1 player on the losing team.
Now you will receive a penalty for match jumping (:
worse update feature ever
You are right. With RL's new casual rules the game really isn't going anywhere. Bravo Epic.
score goals for opposition...
I just played a blowout game where I got trash talked for refusing to concede & my teammates started screwing around or playing total trash, which ruined what was left of MY game!
Before the change, it was super rare that I would leave casual due to the score. I just leave when I want to.
Now, I'm under pressure in every single game where someone starts a vote, and about 1/3rd of the time that vote comes when we're 1 down at 3:30....totally ridiculous.
Once someone decides they don't want to be there, it's a virtual guarantee that their quality of play will diminish, or they'll go AFK or SABO.
So does the logic work both ways? If I want to stay when the score is 12-0, can I expect my teammates to put forth reasonable effort when the other team is scoring every 15 seconds?
Very unrealistic. In the old casual, they would all just leave, very early. In ranked, people focussing on ranking up will not want to waste time on a sure loss, and will forfeit.
People say they wanted the change to minimize so much quitting, but now people who don't want to quit are under pressure to concede or your game just goes to pot because they don't want to play anymore.
It's hard to imagine the supporters seeing positive results with this, because I'm sure not seeing it.
