Why does freeplay feel good and online bad
I feel like the game is so good in freeplay but in online I can barely control my car. Everything feels slower and delayed. I can easily dribble in freeplay, I can't at all in online.

Theres no latency in freeplay. So your essentially playing on 0 ping. So everything feels better

Its cause of real players...in freeplay you dont have to worry and panic, also latency could be issue.

No it's not because of that. Even in the pre-game before a match while searching for players I struggle to dribble but in freeplay it's literally child's play. Everything feels extremely responsive and smooth in freeplay. In online I feel like my car is slow. Like everything is delayed. I get 30 ms on average.

Yeah but I mean online feels really bad. It feels like my car is actually slower. In every aspect.

Pretty sure RL uses rollback netcode without any delay. It might be that your PC isn't strong enough to handle everything that is going on. Try turning the graphics all the way down and see if it still feels sluggish in online play.

you can display real time graphs on the screen in the "interface" options. you can see lag spikes and fps issues. Thats how i confirmed my 300+ lag spikes with 15 ping... I can see constatnt packet loss and i can confirm that i am not crazy, you should try, you will find informations about how the game is running.

if it isn't technology issues, you just need to practice your car control. car control is key for any aerial shot, and if you don't practice, you will struggle with keeping the car towards your destination. if car control is your problem, practice lethamyr's giant rings workshop map. do the map normally for 10 min. then freestyle through it for 10 min. repeat the process whenever you feel like, although i would consider practicing for 20 min once or twice a day. have a good day

I don't think you read what I posted. I can easily dribble in freeplay but I struggle to do it at all in online. Freeplay feels like I'm running with sneakers and online feels like I'm running on my hands....

Yeah there is some kind of "heavy car bug"
Handling the car varies depending on the connection, it's messed up
One day you can get a good connection and play properly, the next day you end up failing double jumps and aerials

I actually just had a really good few hours that played like freeplay. I don't get why the game runs so well around 3-6 AM for me but every other time is ♥♥♥♥.

Check your network settings of the game in options also your own network

It's just weird that it doesn't seem to happen with other games.

I have like I literally have done everything. From yesterday at 3AM until today at 6 PM my game felt good. Now it feels like ♥♥♥♥ again. It's something with the severs and how your PC interacts. Heavy car bug is definitely real. It doesn't make sense that I can go from hitting the ball anywhere on the field to missing boost over night or even within hours.
