That's the kind of players I hate. Usually my playstyle is compatible with most people.
It's just annoying to be blamed for someone elses awful play, especially when they miss the ball more than hit it! That was a hilarious match.
~ Midfielders who feel the need to touch everything. No active blocking of clearances, just attempts to touch the ball, throwing off your clearances from the back.
~ Defenders who don't stay at home when there's no clear possession. Too many times I've not quite been able to secure possession laterally, so passed it home off the wall, only to find the person behind me has wandered out to get boost.
~ Demo tossers. 'You're just mad from being blown up repeatedly'. Actually, I'm happy, because you're contributing nothing to your team's defense.
~ Point collectors. Every single clearance is aimed directly at the opposition goal along the ground or with no pace whatsoever, allowing a precision clearance.
~ People who get sooky because you haven't given them the obligatory 'Nice shot!'. I'll compliment you when you've actually made a shot worthy of compliment, thanks.
~ The General. Your chat is full of 'Take the shot!', 'Centering', and 'I got it!'. The guy is contributing absolutely nothing to any sort of meta-play that veterans already understand innately. I know when to take a shot, mate. My Master ranking is genuine.
~ The Alt-Tabber. They're in the attacking position at kickoff, and you see they're not responsive. You try and get up to the kickoff, only to fall short and the ball's punted over your roof for a goal. Chimes in with 'What a save!' as though he has a riotous sense of humour.
~ The goalie who doesn't close the angle. Sits in front of you in such a manner that you could no longer make a controlled save if you tried, only to be beaten at the near side because they think attacking the ball is suicide instead of good defensive play.
~ The goalie who can't and won't jump, let alone fly. Similar to the above. Gets dunked on repeatedly from regulation crosses/clearances then beaches about how it's everyone else's fault. A good defense being a good counter-attacking offense is lost on these people.
The guy who steals your shot and misses when you were in a much better position to score is by far my biggest hate.... I literally had one game earlier where one guy done this to me 3 times when I was clear on goal and missed.... We lost the game 5-4.
Although looking at that list, 95% of the time my team has at least 2 of these players (I only really play 4v4)
Thought the examples in 3v3 were bad enough, but 4v4 is taking it to another level.
If you have a good team of friends or the very rare good random team I find it much more enjoyable than 3v3, just my opinion though :)
Oh and I also hate it when the teammate positioned farthest back boosts to the ball like a bat out of hell during kick off, leaving the goal wide open.
I was in a 3v3 match and two of the people on my team were this. 3 pros versus 1 rookie is hard, man.
-The one who steals your goal after you went through alot of difficult stuff just to get it right there in the goal. ( I call it - goal secure) :D
you're blowing this way out of proportion, i only meant to ask the community what kind of actions in-game they dislike that also serves a duel purpose to inform others about strategies for the games
and judging you had to tell me to "get a life" and yell in full capital letters, etc, i honestly think it's strange you would comment about people being too sensitive about things on the internet
yeah, that one is especially painstaking because of the fact that you're paired with bots that have rookie ai
yeah, i think including this one was mostly my strange obsession with extra evidence. i love people who follow through because it helps the team. the ones who just bump the ball a little bit and they make the goal when you've done 99% of the work are the bad ones.
agreed. while demolition is a serious stress reliever and assists your team if you are going to be doing it the entire round your team has a very small chance of doing well. i had just the luck to run into someone who became my teammate (during my first time in 2v2) that always stole major boosts and just focused on ramming into the opposite team. most of the time it wasn't enough force or he just straight out missed.
