I truly believe rocket league not only has introduced bots into ranked but is actually using bots and lag "spikes" to create outcomes for maximum player retention. Simply, the game is rigged. I am constantly matched with either absolute noobs or borderline gods who can't miss a shot or a save. I can usually predict with decent accuracy what type of game i will have before the match. If I've had three easy wins in a row i'd bet the farm i'm gonna play ssl's in champ's cloths the next match. If by some miracle I manage to get ahead by a few IN COMES perfect lag spikes to turn the tide inconspicuously..

The only questions are: Does Psyonix in particular use it, and in what way?

do you realy think they changed anything in rocketleague beside more cosmetics and "new look" for the menu? nothing changed since 2015
maybe the mmr changed system or the ban system but nothing mayor

I just think the change in skill from one game to the next is mind boggling. I've been playing hoops at mid d2 to low d3. i run into players with randomized cars, nonsensical names and quite a few don't show up in my recent players list. one game ill get a guy that can't for the life of him shoot the ball higher than the rim and the next game, i'm playing a dude with an SSL title. I have that game saved but am too dumb to upload it. Their play styles are weird as well. i tend to be very demo heavy vs them in order to score. They tend to adjust by taking the ball up their back wall and carry it through the air and literally dribble around my challenge unfazed on their way to my net. i sit there stunned cause were they just sandbagging the whole first half? i know there are real players that can do this consistently but this is low d3. IDK i was hopping someone else was seeing this too.. don't even get me started on the yoyoing

besides bronze and maybe silver. anything above gold varies in terms of skill. some players cant do ♥♥♥♥ or has no common sense in playing some kind of sports in terms of the concept one form or other. in this game first touch is always easier to read than your second touches. and no one goes for the second touch after they hit the ball to the opponent side. some platinum cant do that ♥♥♥♥ while other teammates can read like they have hacks.

I've gotten a few of those "Gods" in 1v1. They don't do anything super fancy but they just can't miss. Every shot is perfect. Another thing I've noticed is that they have a really really low hoops and dropshot rank... like bronze bottom 0%. It has to be some kind of bot/clamping going on.

trust me if your that good, you play hoops with your friends who are still coming up and u do it alot cause its a trow away (not for this baller) so they shouldnt be de2 d3
