1. common sense
2. burden of proof is with the dude making the claim, especially when the claim is the most insane thing I've read online in the past 6 months
Currently right now there is 360,000 players online. On steam there is currently 22,000. How is that not proof for you, 6 % of the players playing right now are using the steam launcher. that is a massive minority. I don't like it but at least I'm realistic about things. Just because some people hate epic doesn't mean that you are automatically the majority and everyone hates them as well. The reality is those that hate epic and the launcher and refuse to use it because "♥♥♥♥ epic" are still a massive minority.
It is already removed from steam, if you didn't notice.

We are discussing PC players only and you're using a number that includes the ~70% on console. Additionally, the losses on Steam have occurred within a time span during which the overall player count has increased -- an increase that exceeds the decrease on Steam. This means that the majority of that number, if you could even acquire that number, would be evidence of new players that never owned it on Steam. That number you've provided does not show Steam players moving over to Epic.
I don't have the energy to explain to you how statistics work; I'm currently getting over a turkey tryptophan high.
It's still not steam game, statistics from steam doesn't matter in slightest, the number will be steadily decreasing.
Yes. What I said is that the number he provided does not show Steam players moving to Epic, and I am correct. If you can put together enough IQ points to counter that claim, I'm all ears. But right now you're not making any point, you're just stating the obvious without any discernible direction or intention.
I mean the day everyone saw the in-game post about trading being removed, that was a sign they were gonna kill the game. Or off in the wrong direction. Take away something from the community, there will backlash.
And the passes have been garbage for a year. Didn't buy. Fun game, bad company.
The API is still open so sites can directly see how many players there are.

Is just one of the them.
