I'm a bakkemod user, and so far, Bakkesmod is an application that allow you to see your and opponent's MMR. It's safe unless you are installing some random plugins you don't know about.
Some useful yet safe plugins:
-Rocket Garage (for trading)[bakkesplugins.com]
-Platform Display (to display everyone's platform when tabbing)[bakkesplugins.com]
-Rocket Stats (overlay for seeing streaks, wins, lose, streaks, etc)[bakkesplugins.com]
-Instant Suite[bakkesplugins.com] or Auto Leave [bakkesplugins.com]. Those two allow you to matchmake as soon the match ended, and can also leave the match after it finished (saving you time). The first has bug on tournament, it will leave no matter the setting you choose. The second, you have to leave in order to matchmake. you cannot stay in casual to rematch. Both has flaws, pick your poison
Anyway, it's definitely safe as long you install it from the official site. I'm using it to date.
