Anybody know how to fix this? Google is unhelpful. Actually, I'm more trying to gauge if this is a general problem or just a me problem and should wait or try to resolve.

this happened to me once, when i set my cookie settings to strict settings. i heard a thread about a bug like this where people were deleting their rocket league cache file and validating the game files to re-acquire it, so that may also be an option.

First of all it's not "epic games servers" but Epic online services.

For Steam players it should help to sync Windows clock or sometimes may need to restart Steam or log out and back to Steam, unless it's global issue.

imagine feeling the need to be pedantic about error messages, and then literally all you have to offer is "try restarting it"
