Cant download game

I want to download the game on steam but the download button isnt there. also the is a note on the store page "Notice: At the request of the publisher, Rocket League® is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search. " whats the deal?

The game is no more available to buy on Steam since the F2P update (September 2020) because its now an epic games launcher exclusive and, as Steam workshop documentation states about the removal of a product, once removed from the steam store it wont get published again later:

in few words: you cant download it because you dont own it in the library and now its no more available for purchase.

I do actually have RL on epic launcher, thanks. Why i wanted the steam copy was to be able to download the workshop maps, which looks to be impossible anymore since i cant own a steam copy.
