Xbox One controller causing frame lag + Crashing in Rocket League (Windows 10)
Recently ( a few weeks ago) i purchased an xbox one controller because the analog sticks on my ps4 controller were starting to wear out and wanted to try something new. When I first start the game everything is fine, first game or 2 have no problems. after a couple of games though the game starts getting jittery and only gets worse as time goes on, and after about 45 minutes the game is nigh unplayable. I've linked most of the problems to the thumbstick inputs causing this issue because theres no lag until they start moving.

Another issue is that now the game starts crashing at random points, usually the worst times like when im ahead in a game, about to win. its never happened before and 'seems' to be linked to those notifications in the bottom right but I haven't confirmed that.

Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times to no avail and have no idea on how to fix this issue.

What Windows 10 build are you on?

Microsoft included a new 360/One driver in a build awhile back and it causes this.

Well, it's currently known at Nvidia that there is an issue where your performance will degrade after playing awhile. The only fix currently is to Alt-Tab out of the game or change resolutions and change back.

Crashing could be from missing a game-file somewhere. I'd suggest running Steam as Administrator and Verify Game-Cache while under Administrator.
