Too bad you will be looked down upon anyways.
:/
This is why sports dont evolve that fast.
Meelis13, either get better and change the game, get past the boundries, and dont listen to people, listen to yourself. Self reflection.
Hakeem changed the post game.
Stephen Curry changed the 3pt game.
Charles Barkley made records in the post even when extremely undersized.
They pushed past the boundries through hard work, and mental adjustment.
You will NEVER be the greatest with that state of mind. Beanflicker.
You've missed the entire point of this post. Read it again.
For example, what does this have to do anything with adjusting your playstyle? This is just the ranking system being broken. The emphasis of season 2 is consistent gameplay instead of stressing over individual losses which the devs themselves have stated. If you lose one game and get demoted after previously winning 6-14 games in a row (which I have experienced myself), and in most if not all of those games the average rank of the opposing team was the same or higher than the average rank of your team, you can't possibly call this ranking fair.
But you are only able to carry so much so telling someone to get better isn't going to do anything. At the end of the day you can't really put a rank on someone for a team effort. A solid team will always beat a team that has 1 good player. The only gamemode the ranking system works for is 1v1 where it's just you and one other opponent and if you concede a goal it's always your own fault. In 2v2 and 3v3 you can't be everywhere so you will have to rely on your teammates and let them play the ball at some point but if your teammates are so incompetent to the point of not reliably being able to hit the ball how is this your fault? This is what this thread is about and all of you are missing the point.
I already know this, I was not missing the point.
I don't think you will believe me, but I had to go do something.
If you don't believe me, heres my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ counter:
1) He needs to be a good role model to the "bad" players.
2) I never said that he had to carry the team, you think charles barkley, hakeem, and steph ballhog infinitely? No, I don't think they did now did they!
3) We all make mistakes, and they need to be fixed, but the only way to fix someone elses mistake is patience, if you keep on pushing through, youll find better players, or you will help improve the current ones through communication, like a good player would, and not complain.
The reason bad players one really is bad is that if you try to give hints, even very politely, that triggers huge flamefest 7 times out of 10, 2 times out of 10 it triggers no reaction and at best, 1 time out of 10 it actually works to some degree.
I mean everyone has bad periods, ♥♥♥♥ happens, but so many people take it as personal insult if you try to help them with hint.
And as for patience, no matter how patient you are, you run out of it sooner or later when teammates ignore your hints and still continue to rush ball every chance they get just to have touch on the ball. Worst ones are when they go for the ball when you really need to be percise about clearing, get yourself in position and then slight touch from them to push ball past you.
and as cherry on a cake, those same players often go blaming you for the loss.
So that point you made also means community NEEDS to improve a lot.
(Can you hear me laughing?)
Challenger is by far the most difficult rank to get out of if your skill is similar to Elite / Rising Star.
Mainly because in a 3v3 almost half the players will be the similar skill as you. Those 1-2 odd players that don't actually derserve to be there will be the barrier sadly because its a team game.
You can't be mad at those players, there's a reason they got to that MMR to be paired up with you. More times than not, I get players that know positioning but whiff easy aerials or do poor clears.
If you really care and want to rank up, find a decent team with enough chemistry to rise up the ranks. You will then eventually hit a barrier and will have to start improving your own game.
Besides, if you are at challenger, i do expect you to play at very least on similar level to bronze in season 1- not utopic expectation as challenger SHOULD be equivelant of silver
And again, not issue in season 1 (ok, in unranked, yes, not after that tho)
