Rocket League collectors edition codes + Rocket League on Steam = ???

What will happen if I redeem the collectors edition code for my steam account when I already own 3 of the DLC it's trying to giving me?

you will not get extra bits of the dlc you already own to give out as gifts if that is what you are wondering

it just eats any duplicate stuff

You may somehow have it added directly to you accout, though. Like games that used SameSpy to play online. Steam offers to add those games on your steam account if you send a picture of the original printed cd-key next to your e-mail adress.
You should probably check in steam support or Google around a bit. You might find something.
