From experience with how broken the system is, i have encountered Gold ranked players that could give high diamonds a run for their money.

Also, I have encountered Diamond ranked players that are so rubbish that they shouldn't be past Gold I....yet somehow are.

Its another proof the system is broken and needs a full on hard reset for Diamond and below ranks, i am not sure how bad Champion I and higher is like, never been there, but i have experienced Bronze Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond and i have encountered players that should be far higher in rank, but are not and i have seen players that should be far lower in rank, yet are far higher.

Its a sign of a broken system.

Hmmm, i am sure Grand Champion is working fine....right? i mean only the best players can be there right?

If not, then a full on hard reset would fix it, as long as they do the following:

1: Prevent grouping during the placement matches

2: Queuing in ranked in a group with a rank difference of higher than 1 should be prohibited (ie. Plat I and a Plat III)

3: The Boosted and booster that are caught should get the MMR of a Grand Champion with the rank of Booster or Boosted and be stuck there for the whole season, if you do it again the next season, it becomes 2 seasons, then 4, then it becomes permanent.
