Converting .replay into a video online
So I've stumbled upon this discussion today. I'm currently working with jist.tv and we provide a service that lets you upload a replay file (from Rocket League as well as various other games), which we then convert into a video that you can watch and share on both your desktop and mobile browsers.

Here's the step-by-step:

1. Go to http://www.jist.tv/create.php and select Rocket League
2. Upload your replay file. There is also a tutorial video on the left side that shows you where the replay file is (usually) found.
3. After this, we will send you an e-mail when your video is ready to view.
Done!

Then using your browser (any device) go to jist.tv and login. Your replay video will be ready for you to watch. There's a video on the home page of jist.tv too that shows this process.
If you watch on your computer you'll be able to capture your plays (we're working on this feature for mobile) as highlights.

I've only gotten Rocket league two days ago so I've got a question for you guys, is 60 seconds enough time for capturing individual Rocket League moments/plays?

Give it a try and let us know what you like or don't like so we can fix it. Please remember we're still in beta :D. Thanks!

Oh also, we'll be adding a Rocket League channel soon so you'll be able to watch other players replays and clips too.

Edit: We also support automated GIF creation for clips under 10 seconds but we will be increasing it to 20 seconds soon!

60 seconds is more than enough time mate, usually most "plays" are done in 10-20 secs, however it would be nice to see the buildup to a play you make or saw. (edit) btw nice work, bout time, got sick of recording replays with fraps (or using fraps)!

Great idea mate. Hopefully this is more for the players and not to market the site, but nice to see someone doing something effective for the community. :rloctane:

This is a very good idea, indeed. Doing the wet work and providing the video directly should help a lot of people

Hey! I know this post is really old but I’m looking to create a tool that converts the videos into mp4s locally. Would love to chat if you’re willing!
