can't change resolution

I try to change the resolution to anything else and the screen just becomes black but i can hear the sound .. i have to restart my laptop to be a able to use it again.

My laptop has enough requirements for me to play gta 5 in 1080 p
so can anyone help me ??

Pressing Alt+Enter should fix it by switching to windowed mode.

Or you can close the game and change it manually.

ti can do everything with the setting but every time i change the resolution it wont regester it and the above mentioned file doess not exist in my folder
