900-1k hours is average. If you get it sooner it means you score more and get more points per game than most. Get it later, means you score less. Is there ways to cheat the system? Sure there are. Is it worth it? No.
IF they haven't changed the amount of points you get (as in: you used to level up faster X time ago), it's impossible to get there in 500h. I have many friends in diamond/champ ranks and, although I'm not the highest ranked, I'm the one with the highest score/time and it took me 900+ hours.
Edit: Leaving matches early will not reward you with XPs, I leaved maximaly 5% of matches I played.

From level 1 to level 60 is THE SAME AMOUNT OF XP as from lvl 60 to 75.
So it will take you ANOTHER 600 hours to get to rocketeer.
and still you are expert with 600. lol
