How is it that i don't get a div up with 5 winstreak?

Been keeping myself from going on here, but how can i win 5 times vs people that a challenger elite and i'm challenger 3 or 4 and yet i i'm still on DIV 5.

This is getting out of hand. 5 winstreaks and all of them have been against challenger elites. But i have yet to get 1 div up.. Pissing me off this game. If it's not that problem, then there's something else. Just trying to rank up. But apparently that's another issue to face.

When you rank up you go from division 5 to division 2 of the next rank. This means it will take twice as long to rank up after hitting division 5.

you could possibly be having to catch up to the ones you lost also.

Div V has to become Div II of the following rank (not Div I).
You don't get your next rank so easily. It's so you don't get it and instantly lose it again :P

1 division = 5 wins can happen. In S1 you could see the points and a win could very well be 4 points (assuming a whole division is like 20).

Plus, as Z3ro said, you go from V to II so even more points needed

Can someone tell me what's going on now then? because i have won 3 in a row now, and i have to go from challenger elite div 2 to div 3?...

Ranking up seems a bit tougher at the moment as you play more lower ranks because they changed the matchmaking to use the top ranked player only for matching.
But those lower players aren't necessarily useless (maybe they just didn't play enough games yet this season) so if you win you go up less and if you lose you go down more.

I feel like i lose more when i lose than i win.

I have lost now 2 in a row.
feels really like i'm accomplishing nothing in this game so far.

If i only giv 1 div up after all these wins now i'm actually gonna be upset.

And 3 loses was enough for me to get div down.
Pfff, what i said, accomplishing nothing.....

In all honesty it is actually really making me mad.
Last night i had so many good games and won a f ton but never div up. Today i finally got it.

DIV 2 - Challenger elite.

Now i have just won 2 games. And lost 3 exactly.
and i get div down to div 1.

I really takes away all that i'm fighting for. It says that a loss has more of an impact than a win has.

Hi yeah, i know of that site.
But i have played the game enough hours now to see that clearly it's a problem with RL
ranking up in this game is the most painfull experience i've ever.

So i guess when it's evenly matched, you only gain a few MMR points. But a loss takes a huge chunk away?

That system might need some tweaking yes.
