Question about Low Latency Mode and Input Buffer???
I honestly don't know if this is all placebo, heavy car bug or I just suck. For reference I'm GC1-GC2 in 2s. I often flip around on whether or not Low Latency mode is good or bad in Rocket League. In most FPS games it feels fantastic. But for some reason in Rokcet League it FEELS like I get a lot more ghost hits with it on vs off. Like it increases the discrepency between me and the server. Which leads me to the next poitn I switch often between CSTS and Default on input buffer. Again it could be just because of my poor connection, my ISP or in general the US-West Rocket League servers are terrible in my experience. I have lag in Rocket league according to the netgraph that I just don't get in any other game. I'm curious what everyone elses opinions or information is on these two settings. I'm playing on a 240 hz monitor wired connection and I just cannot get the game to feel anything like it feels in training. Not sure if I just give up on the game at this point or what. I used to have a much better connection before F2P. Not sure if there's any tweaks I can make to these settings that would give me a smoother gameplay experience. I'm curious what the majority of pros use as far as low latency mode and input buffer because no one really mentions it. In training low latency mode FEELS amazing. But I'm not sure if it messes things up in game with the server or not.

You should stick to Legacy input buffer. The other two option will raise or lower your game speed by 0-2% to compensate for your bad connection. You should only use them if you're on Wifi or have poor connections to the servers all the time.

The servers are the same as they were before free-to-play. Same servers that most other big games use.

Also have no clue what "Low Latency" mode you're talking about. The Nvidia Control Panel one? If so - that won't do much as the frame buffer is handled by the game. You'd need to edit the ini files to disable it, then you can probably use the GPU Driver one.

Ok I'll go back to default after watching video. Nvidia low latency mode is in the control panel. I think it limits the amount of frames your GPU buffers to 0. I wasn't sure if that would make an impact on the way 50s work cause it feels like I get more ghost hits with it on but that's pure conjecture.
